Blue Books

Blue books were first introduced in 1923 when they contained a list of starters, umpires and judges from each club. After a number of years a list of affiliated clubs was added. In time further information such as Officers, fixtures and contact details for each club was added. The blue books continued until 2011 when they were discontinued due to the availability of all relevant information on the website. They are an invaluable source of information for researchers. We are lucky to have almost a complete collection. Needless to say, if you have any of the missing books (1945, 47, 48, 50 & 52) we would love to hear from you.

Following the discontinuation of the blue books in 2011 there is a real danger that much of the information contained in the blue books will be lost. As a result we have decided to create our own "pink books" which we will upload each year. They will contain the composition of the Board, a list of regatta officials, the calendar and a list of affiliated clubs for that year.
